Linkedin is still the number one referrer to my blog. I believe linkedin is probably the best social site out there for driving traffic. Here is a post I wrote on the subject. http://shawnozbun.com/internet-marketing/how-im-driving-thousands-of-visitors-using-linked-in-two-simple-secrets/

It all depends on how you market to the people on the social media sites.
If you use direct marketing on these sites you will fail.

What is Social media? It is a place to talk, share and socialise. It is not a place to be directly sold to and this is one of the biggest mistakes marketers make. You need to talk to people first and share in what interests them.

If you want more traffic to go to your sites you must be prepared to socialise first before you do any marketing.

Yes the social media was really make a new way of money making method.

especially for twitter, and ofcourse if you have an autoblog will make money while you’re sleeping. but to make an autoblog, you have to spent about $100 or $200 for 1 software.

i Have bought the software that i use to make an autoblog, and i have the MRR so i can sell it again. but i will only sell this package for only $5 and it very usefull. it contain 55+ software plugin templates and themes for your autoblog

@Anthony, I have set up 3 autoblogs already, and they are not necessarily autoblogs, because they don’t write their own content, I write the content. Eventually I hope to get to the point where the get enough traffic so that they get people writing the content for me.

I love how you break this down. It makes it simple and it is so true. Social media is about conversation and developing the relationships that will eventually lead to people spreading the word for you. Great post. I added your link to my “Must Visit Links” on http://www.jasonverdelli.com. Again, great post!

I liked the way you made this social networking thing so easy a kindergartner could understand. The key word is “transparent”. More then ever people will know if you really understand them or not. And since you indicated that you do not understand women and probably won’t for at least a 1000 years you may be missing out on a huge market. Which gender buys more stuff????

Great video. Lays it all out nicely in a simple way. Too many people out there are trying to get people to act as spammers, essentially. Unfortunately, following their advice I’ve been a bit guilty of that too. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, it’s kind of obvious when you put it that way, isn’t it? It doesn’t matter what happens to the WAY we network, the basic rules will always stay the same: don’t get it my face, just be friendly, helpful and show some good old hospitality. Around here we call it ‘going out for coffee’. Nothing like shooting the sh*t, chewing the fat, etc. Great post, Perry.

    Hello,

Is this a pre launch for a new “Plecher” training following “The Wholsale Traffic System”?

We were sold before the idea that Perry made his millions through PPC,and that his strategies are taught in the previous course, now it’s about social media?
Give me a break, and kindly before preparing for a new course launch, fulfill what you promised in the previous $2000 that you dismissed totally and left your customers in the middle of the way.

This is a fantastic video Perry! Your Party perspective of how to build relationships makes something we tend to make hard…easy! It follows a principle I have always supported:
Say something Nice! Do something Nice! And, Be someone Nice!
I am eager to apply your practice with more focus on People than Sales. Thanks!
