Hey Ryan,
I love to watch your videos because you always share a lot of awesome content.
The results you shared in this video were very interesting… I am going to have to test this out.
Thanks for the awesome video!

Will this button work on a replica site that an affiliate cannot put anything extra on their site?
September 10th, 2008 at 8:38 pm
Ryan,
Great job on another very insightful video. I’ve been using a variety of different buy buttons, but never thought of using orange. I’m going to test it out right now

Hey, I sussed that was the right button size to use from when you used it on the split-test sales page, but it’s cool to hear some reasoning behind it.
I just blogged about some psychological tricks the koreans used on American POWs and it should interest the Kern fans (and it’s something *everyone* should be aware of)
thanks for the split tests again, they’re really helpful

Appears that youtube has taken down your video.

What a great test. I’m going to try this on one of my sites & will let you know the results. I always tell me students: “Assume nothing & test everything!”. I often see some of the strangest things boost my conversion rates and I would never have known without doing tests like the one you show here.
I hope to see more videos like this: Keep the test results coming!
All the best,

Hey Ryan,
You did it again! Thanks for the awesome content.
I am actually in the process of applying your information from all of your previous videos on one of my projects and I am confident that I will see some great improvements.
But I never thought of using that type of “Magic Buy Button”.
So guess what I am going to do?
Test out this Magic Button on one of my projects!
Thanks again for all the help you are providing us.

Ryan,
Man, I just appreciate all of these videos you share. Amazing.
September 11th, 2008 at 12:42 am
Hi Ryan,
I bought your 43 split tests when it first came out a couple months ago.
I implemented it on some of my sites and it definitely increased my conversions. Which means it put more money in my pocket.
I am definitely going to implement this button on my sites this month.
Thanks in advance…
Warmly,
Jason Pearson

Personally, I don’t think this split test is relevant.
I’m going to assume you’re tracking sales and
not just clicks (which would be totally irrelevant)
If i’m not mistaking you have ~100 sales there..
from my point of view you’d need at the very least 200
sales to track 4 different elements… Late Halbert
was testing at least 100 sales / variant (so 400 sales)
Anyway, try to leave the split test running until Google
says you have a high confidence winner if you can. It
will take longer but it will be accurate.

Hi Ryan, it’s good to see someone sharing their split-test results with the rest of us who are perhaps not quite as thorough.
(Maybe even lazy:-)
Just off over to check out 43splittests.com now.
Cheers,
Pete.

Good timing. I’m just in the process of changing two websites introducing products for sales. I certainly will give this button a go.
Thanks.

Hi Ryan
awesome video yet again. Having just started in IM I love all the free information you give out. It still amazes me that its the little tweeks that make all the difference. I like coming to your site as you can swamped with all the information out there but your snippets make great sense and easy to implement as they come in small chunks.
many thanks for all the free info.

Hey Ryan, fantastic stuff yet again. Thanks so much for sharing. And on a side note, all of your other tests that you conduct in the Total Access Club are just as awesome.
(so is your continuity blueprint! Well worth getting up at 4.30am to purchase!!)

Hi Ryan,
Does “Add To Cart” work best on the button for a free newsletter sign-up?
If not, what do you suggest?
Thanks,

Great Video.
But does the “Add to Cart” words play a part? On my site we use Paypal and their buttons. I use the “Buy Now”.
Does that play a part in conversions? I know…. Test it!
And I shall.
Just wanted to know if you tested that already.
thanks,
Lu

Yea! this is awsome info Ryan.
You really save marketers from doing alot of diry work ourselves by providing results from your own tests… You are awsome man!
I love reading your blog because it gets me closer to the goals I’m trying to reach in my own business and it costs me nothing but my time to read and implement..
Thanks again for great info…

Ryan, thanks for this video and the one about dropping the name field from opt-ins. I would never have thought to make those kinds of changes to a buy button. Almost makes me want to buy 43 split-tests this weekend and try all 43 on one page that only has a 2% conversion rate.

Hello Ryan,
This is Massimo from Italy.
I was a bit surprised about your button-secret. I have tested and used tons of marketing strategies but this one seems to be very powerful…
Your post is very good, I need to put it in action right now. Thank you a lot!!!!!

Hey Ryan,
This is simply superb content. I increased the size of my buy button, and am eagerly anticipating the improved results. Thank you so much for sharing!

GREAT video, but there I was thinking that if I visited 43SplitTests.com I was going to be able to download this ‘magic’ button?! Well unless I missed the download link, I’d have to pay $97?
I mean, does ’snag’ just mean copy the button you have on that salespage? I sure wouldn’t have thought that, but hey, maybe I’m right!
Oh well!
Thanks
Mark
