I gotta give props to my buddy John Reese on his decision to shut down BlogRush.

Pardon my crudeness, but it takes balls to risk your own cash and pursue a big project like this.
That being said, it takes MUCH, MUCH bigger balls to make the hard decision to cut your losses and move on.
Only a Grade-A, Status Quo Coward would chastise John or relish in the “failure” of BlogRush, so be on the lookout for “haters” and tell them Ryan Deiss said they’re a “coward”.
Seriously…tell them that.
My friends and I are opening a new business, specifically a coffee shop, so I am online doing a bit of research. Reading your posts have give me some great things to think about, so thanks for the new ideas.

It is easy to stand up to a crowd when you are right. It takes a greatly increased amount of strength to admit you were wrong. The internet as we know is loaded with folks out for one thing only and that is to increase their income at the expense of others. John had pioneered many things in the past 4 years, and I am sure he will continue to do so.

Yep, I noticed that yesterday when I was viewing my blog comments.
I applaud John and the decision he made. He walked away with his integrity! We’ll miss BlogRush, but we’ll wait for John’s future projects as they will no doubt be spectacular!

I’ve heard of John Reese but as a newbie, not Blogrush!
