I have noticed, that on a webmaster services website I used to run, I saw a jump in orders after having put my picture and physical address and contact details. Just to prove to them, its a real person who is running the website and one can get in touch.
Although, I never applied this thing in a sales page, but just used it in the footer of my websites.
