When my wife was a sophomore in college, she lost her mother to a long-fought battle with ovarian cancer.

This was after losing both of her aunts (her mom’s sisters) to breast cancer just a couple years earlier…

Although Emily and I were only dating at the time, I knew we would one day get married and have kids, and I knew when we did that Emily would miss not having her mom around.

When that day came, and our first child was born, it was one of the happiest days in both of our lives. But at the same time, there were also moments of sadness when we reflected on how much we wish Emily’s mom were around to see her grandchild and give Emily “mom advice”.

So why do I tell you that story?

Why would I drop such an emotional bomb on you on a Saturday morning?

Here’s the deal: Painful as this is to recall, I wanted you to know that cancer has affected me and my family in a very real and personal way.

And with the ever-increasing cancer rates in our society, chances are you have any equally (if not more) sad story to tell.

That’s why I’m writing you this email…

Right now another mother is fighting cancer, and she’s not ready to leave her children:

http://www.marilynreahealthfund.blogspot.com/

Normally I don’t mix causes with marketing, but this one struck a chord, and in this fight every little bit helps.

Both Tim and Howie have been friends of mine for years, so I trust them.

And they are willing to trade you some “how to dominate google” videos for your donation…but frankly if that’s the only reason you’re donating I ask that you please reassess your motives.

For what it’s worth, I have made a personal donation well in excess of the “recommended” amount.

Now I’m asking you to do the same.

Please give if you can:

http://www.marketersforacure.com/

Thanks for your time,
Ryan Deiss

In January I did a very small coaching program where I showed 25 people my step-by-step system for getting started online and earning “Your First $1000″. The idea is to build a business QUICKLY that can earn at least $1000 a week, but to build it in such a way that it can grow well beyond that point with just a little extra work.

You can get more info by going to: http://www.YourFirst1000.com

Due to the “one-on-one” nature of this program, I’m only able to take 25. Because of this, the first one sold out in under 5 minutes and the waiting list has ballooned to over 2000 people. And needless to say I’ve had a lot of requests to do it again.

So, starting THIS THURSDAY (March 20th) at 3:00pm eastern that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Again, you can get all the details by going here:

http://www.YourFirst1000.com

If you have any questions, feel free to post a comment and I’ll do my best to respond.
