Ryan Deiss BASHED on the Warrior Forum

By on October 31, 2008

Well, it seems my love/hate relationship with the “Warriors” continues… :)

Although I wasn’t personally named, anyone can tell that this post is about me and my Continuity Blueprint training program. Normally I don’t respond to these sorts of things, but I take offense when the word “LIES” gets thrown around.

Watch this video and judge for yourself…

I find forums nauseating. In my opinion, they are the #1 force behind misleading information online. Too much opinion, not enough substance. That said, the post you referred to is well written and informative (even if you don’t like being called a liar although he didn’t really call it to your face), but then you have to put up with all the forum responses.

So someone might say, why read forums if I don’t like them? The problem is that Google ranks them. When I search for a specific topic, often forum posts will come up in the search results. It’s all crap. Doesn’t Google realize that these forum posts do not contribute to a good search experience?

Anyways, I don’t waste my time with Warrior Forum… keep up the good work Ryan!

I disagree with Bill about not posting criticism. By addressing rants and questions you don’t like, it shows maturity and strength. Customers who might believe the angry buyer will get the other side of the picture.

Also it allows the marketer to answer questions in an interesting way. Information is something that can easily be misunderstood by the listener (who may selectively hear what he wants to hear.)

I do remember that Ryan does bring up some negative aspects of his products so that customers know what they are getting.

Anyone can post opinions and anyone can respond back and in the end no one comes out the winner because the world is split down the middle 50% – 50%.

The real bottom line is that internet marketing training courses fail 99% of all people. that is a fact. largely due to the fact that they are only designed for the above average person that is serious about the industry.

The failure rate is what it is straight across the board and only the serious and dedicated will survive and succeed it doesn’t matter what area you are in, in network marketing.

The vast majority of people are lazy, very underfunded and don’t have the time or patience and quite frankly past their learning years.

The people that respond to blogs or forums are in one of two categories, either they are in the 1% successful or they are still nieve about their chances and holding on t0 empty dreams and are angry at those that are dashing their dreams.

It doesn’t matter what area of marketing you are in, you either have to have expendible capital and a lot of time and patience and a huge circle of influence or you are finished right out of the gate and are going waste a lot of unproductive time in the 6 months to one year range before you have your a ha moment that this isn’t for you.

Marketing trainers are flooding the internet and are a dime a dozen, with only a handful that are any good out of the thousands of them, Their area of true marketing expertise is getting you to buy their training and the few good ones are masters at that.

Their entire income is derived from the sale of their programs and joint ventures with their buddies that are selling another one of the same program with a different name and occasionally a different avenue.

The Trainers aren’t really using what they teach because they don’t have to as long as you are buying their material.

None of them are involved in an MLM company and most never were, but they figured out how to prey on the unsuccessful and create their own market. I am not telling you anything that you can’t figure out if you have spent anymore than 15 minutes in this industry.

The bottom line is this: MLM companies have finally wised up and started producing better and better in-house marketing for their distributors and for the rest of the industry you will need lot’s of capital,to get a good web designer and graphics person, an advertising campaign of your choice and a whole lot of patience.

Other wise plan on spending 10′s of thousands of dollars with multiple marketing trainers and at least 2 wasted years of no income, because you will only stick with a program for 3 to 4 months at a time when you are making zero dollars and then bounce to the next bright shiny object. Oh! all at about a minimum of $1000 a pop.

This industry is not for the weak and timid and is not for the lazy.

You know what Ryan, don’t care what this guy is talking about on the “Warrior Forum” Your trainings have almost triple the sales for our company…. Just keep on providing value to our market place and you’ll away have return customer like us who appreciate the knowledge you provide us …. If this person took the time to post this ridiculous comment, then my friend, you are obviously doing something right…

    Thanks bro

Needed to put you a very small remark just to give many thanks once again considering the nice guidelines you have provided in this case. This has been simply tremendously generous with people like you to supply freely precisely what some people would’ve distributed as an e book to help make some dough for their own end, notably given that you might well have tried it if you ever considered necessary. The good tips as well worked as the easy way to fully grasp other people have the identical dreams like mine to find out a good deal more with regard to this matter. I believe there are lots of more fun times up front for individuals that scan through your website.

The one thing you should never do is post a rant about your competition. Now you’ve got your customers going to check out your competitions website.

One more thing to add for anyone who might stumble on this in the future whose just getting started, which you can learn from complainers like this one…

Maybe he would be successful if he didn’t spend hours complaining in the forums every time hit an obstacle.

If he spent the hour it took his _________ to write that post, on “TAKING ACTION” then maybe he would be making money.

That’s why I STAY OUT of forums, UNLESS its made up of my target market and I am looking to build relationship and knowledge.

    Hey Ryan,

I know I am leaving this comment almost a year after the fact, but I had to comment…

Obviously, this dude is a moron. And he doesn’t have 1/1000th of the marketing intelligence or savy that you have or teach others.

Because he is a failure, he wants to rant about the why he failed. If we all stopped doing something because we failed the 1st time we would all be working 9-5′s.

Dude you are one of the most genuine “guru’s” out there and anyone who says difference is a loser.

    Keep it up dude
